Cape Breton Highlands National Park

We spent 2 1/2 days in this magnificent Canadian park- not long enough! We experienced three trails and several beaches. Incredible views of raw coastline and lush forests!

  1. Omgosh, Lou I just LOVE that part of the world!! Fantastic coastline and spectacular beaches with what appears to be almost nobody on them!!! Amazing!

  2. Love the coast appearance and all the different beaches... they say the east coast is colder than the west... i wonder ? what do you think? and loved seeing also, what looks to be a stand of silver birch trees *?* bring to mind an old song from childhood daze ;)

    2. My kind of weather... windy cloudy and cool :)) love it!! sounds as if all could not be better! you can get out and hike in comfortable weather and yet you are getting a lot of clear sunny days too! perfect :))
